All the systems in the league contribute to an amazingly fun experience!  To enter a league, you purchase your commander deck of choice. You also pay a $30 league fee, over 100% of which goes into the prize pool!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eClick for more details!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"binderPOSEventPrizeStructure\"\u003e\u003cp\u003eHow Commander League Works:  please join our discord server at https:\/\/discord.gg\/bastiongames\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Start of a Commander League:\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor Season 7, players are able to purchase a precon commander deck from the following sets:  Teenage mutant ninja turtles, Secrets of Strixhaven, or Marvel Super Heroes.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePlaying your first match!\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEach week players will participate in 1 scheduled match (super easy and convenient), in which they will be able to earn points based on things like placing, eliminating other players, destroying creatures etc etc similar to how a video game awards achievement points.  Sheets for tracking this will be available in store for each match, and pinned in the commander league channel in discord for easy reference.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePoints will be tallied and recorded in a google sheet each week and standings posted in the commander league channel.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDon't forget to join the each week's event on the Companion app to earn a sweet free 5 points!\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEvolving your Deck!\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBetween each match, you will have a budget that increases each week to use to improve your deck.  This budget is the same for all players.  Example:  after match 1, every player has a budget of $10 to improve their decks!  Prices are taken from the Bastion Games ecom site, and if there are issues with finding a price, from facetoface games!  These cards can be ones that you already own, or ones that you purchase, or even trade for from a friend.  Each card is valued at the lowest listed price for a near mint, legal, NON list version of that card.  So if you have a $100 full art foil, and the regular non foil one costs $6, you would have to have a budget of at least $6 available to add it to your deck.  There can be pricing glitches for websites so if a price looks way too good to be true, (card is $10, but one version is at 10 cents), it probably is and shouldnt be used. Example:  Winners from each pod will condense into one pod, all 2nd places into another, all 3rd places into another etc.  IF we have more than 4 pods it will be adjusted by me based on your overall standing.  Example:  if we have 5 pods, and 5 winners, the 4 that have the highest points will go into one pod, while the last will go into a pod with the highest overall point earners that placed 2nd, etc etc.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe goal of this change is to keep your opponents varied, and pods fun and dynamic! \n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHow do prizes work?\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThroughout the 10 week league, you will be earning points in each of your matches!  At the end of the league, the percentage of the total points you have, determines the percentage of the total prize pool you get!  That means everyone gets something!  Example:  at the end of the league, Joe has 100 points.  The total number of points in the entire league is 1000.  Joe ends the league with 10% of the points, and gets 10% of the prize pool!  This prize pool is in store credit.  Store credit at Bastion Games can be used for anything in store, or on the website, from event entries (you can use your credit to pay for your next Commander League entry!), to sealed product, to drinks and snacks, or singles, or anything we have in inventory!  We don't believe in limiting it's use.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAdditional League Rules:\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e1- Your commander must be one of the legendary creatures from your precon deck that meets all the color requirements.  Usually decks have 2 total that do that.  Being able to change commanders to something outside the precon has proven to be too effective at enabling infinite combos in past leagues.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e2- As voted by you, infinite combos will be restricted to weeks 8,9, and 10.  If you create an infinite combo on your board prior to that, your planeswalker spark implodes and you eliminate yourself from the match so please be aware of that!  If, week 8 forward, a player infinite combo kills their pod, the other 3 players get 4th place points, but the pod winner decides their pod placing for the purposes of pairings.\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e3- Outside influence:  in the interests of keeping pods fair and sportsmanlike, outside influence is not allowed.  If you are not part of a specific pod, you cannot influence game states unless you’re helping to maintain it (reminding someone of a missed mandatory trigger etc).  If you ARE part of a pod and alive, politic and help and suggest at your hearts content.  If you’re part of a pod but you’ve been eliminated, you are ONLY allowed to influence the game at the request of one of the current participants that haven’t been eliminated.
